Founded in 1996 by Julie Vandermost Beeman, VCS Environmental has worked to provide outstanding consulting services to the building industry. 

Over the past 25 years, VCS has been fortunate to work on projects of all sizes and find win-win solutions for our clients. We have worked on both public and private sector projects that protect the environment and allow for common-sense application of regulations for our clients. 

Our team has grown by hiring talented people who share our commitment to service and excellence. We started in 1996 with a small team and now have grown to dozens of highly qualified professionals. As we see new client needs and opportunities, we expand our capabilities by adding experts in the field to best serve and exceed client expectations. We find pride in having built a team of excellent people to serve our industries andare proud that  we are already 25 years in the making. 

Most of our clients have become repeat clients because we have an unrelenting approach to protecting their interests. We treat their schedules and budgets as if they are our own, care about their goals, and continually strive to meet their objectives within the context of required regulations. VCS prides ourselves on helping our clients succeed. 

Mentorship and service have always been key to the success of VCS Environmental. At its inception, founder Juile Beeman was mentored and inspired by Former State Senator, Marian Bergeson. Julie has followed Marian’s example of mentoring and has applied it throughout her career, which Julie finds extremely fulfilling. Julie, and the VCS team, are fortunate to have outstanding relationships and resources within the industry who can help a student just starting out or guide professionals looking for the next step in their career. Our team is committed to enriching the communities in which we serve through our mentorship and grant programs. This year, for our 25th anniversary, VCS will be donating $25,000 in scholarships to college students looking to enter the environmental, planning and/or transportation fields. We are very grateful to be able to mentor and give back to our community that has supported us for the past 25 years.
